History[]
Captain Tsubasa IV: Pro no Rival-tachi[]
Sao Paulo's regular goalkeeper. He is a friendly and cheerful mood-maker. He defends the goal by using his Big Hand Catch to stop shots with one hand! His jumping ability is outstanding!
- Captain Tsubasa IV: Pro no Rival-tachi, the Complete Book of Secrets guide.
Vamora was the number one keeper of Sao Paulo. Prior to the beginning of the game, he had suffered an injury. Therefore, Renato from the youth squad was promoted to the top team to play in his place.
Later, in Route D, he recovered and retook the regular keeper position.
Captain Tsubasa V: Hasha no Shogo Campione[]
Vamora managed to retain his regular keeper position in Sao Paulo. He was also the substitute keeper for Brazil.
Etymology[]
His name is derived from vamola, a contraction of vamos la, which means let's go in Portuguese.

Trivia[]
- In Captain Tsubasa IV: Pro no Rival-tachi, Vamora wears a cap like Genzo Wakabayashi, but in Captain Tsubasa V: Hasha no Shogo Campione, he is no longer using it.
- Vamora shouts "バモラァァ!!" whenever he uses his Big Hand Catch. This can be perceived as either "Let's gooo!" or his own name (see Etymology above).
