Trivia[]

  • Nankatsu was named "Niupi" for Latin America and "New Team" for Spain (while in the 1994 anime dub for Spain, the team was called Gavilanes, which means "Hawks") and some European countries. In the arabic version, the team was named "Al Majd" which means "The Glory". France and Italy use Niupi for Tsubasa's first Nankatsu elementary team when Ishizaki was the Captain and uses "New Team" for the combined team of all Nankatsu's schools aka Nankatsu SC.
