Habatake! Ketta (はばたけ!蹴太, sometimes はばたけ蹴太 without the exclamation mark), roughly translated as Spread your wings, Ketta!, is a manga created by Yoichi Takahashi for the 2008 season of the J. League Division 2 team Yokohama FC.

The comic strip was published in match programs of the club in its home games of the season, starting on 2008-06-08 with the match of Yokohama FC vs. Tokushima Vortis until 2008-12-05 with Yokohama FC vs. Ventforet Kofu for a total of 13 times with 2 pages per entry, leaving a grand total of 26 pages for the whole series.

The publishing schedule was designed to make the end of the cartoon coincide with the 10th anniversary of Yokohama FC, the first professional Japanese football club owned and operated by its members a la FC Barcelona, in December, 2008,


Ketta, a boy who dreams of being a footballer in the future, returns from overseas when his father is transferred back to Japan. His new house is in Yokohama. What awaits Ketta there...
