Furano Public High (道立ふらの高校, dōritsu furano kōkō), also known as Furano MS, is the high school institute where both Hikaru Matsuyama and his elementary teammate Kazumasa Oda were part of before the Battle of World Youth.

Description[]

Furano Public High appeared in World Youth Tokubetsu Hen - Saikyo no Teki! Holanda Youth (1993) Act.1. In the High School tournament, they lost during the quarterfinals against Toho. This was the final showdown between team captains Matsuyama and Hyuga.

Manga

  • Home: White collared jersey with an horizontal red FURANO logo and a broad red shoulder stripe, black shorts and white socks with a black stripe.
  • Away (Tatakae Dream Team): White collared jersey with a with an horizontal light orange FURANO logo and a broad light orange shoulder stripe, light orange shorts and white socks with a light orange stripe. This shirt is greatly based on the 1983 anime uniform on its design.
  • Keeper: The keeper wears a dark tan collared uniform with long sleeves and the FURANO logo, with beige shorts and white socks with a black stripe.

History[]

Both Matsuyama and Oda played for this team in high school. Three years later, their team was opponent of Toho Academy in the quarterfinals of the National tournament. Both Hyuga and Matsuyama settled their long-timr score with their powerful strong legs and loins and ability in ball control.
