- For the more basic technique, see Drive Shot.
Flying Drive Shot (フライングドライブシュート, furaingu doraibu shūto) is a special skill which uses a great top-spin effect.
Description[]
This is Tsubasa's special mid-range shot learnt after the 3-year-gap during his time in Brazil, thanks to Roberto's teachings. It is also used by his rivals Natureza, Santana and football genius Misugi later on, when playing for FC Tokyo.
This shot improves further on the Drive Shot. This "Flying" technique can fall in any direction, not just straight down, but at a diagonal, making the ball harder to catch for most keepers. The ball doesn't lose momentum even when used to shoot from a tight angle.

Trivia[]
- This shot is called "Tiro Volador" in Latin American Dub and "Chute Volador" in Brazilian Portuguese Dub. In Spain it is called by mistake "Tiro con Efecto", which is the translation of another technique, the Drive Shot.
